Make your own crowning moment
Appointed titles are great. They allow you to jump into the national level of competition and make the most out of your community events. But they are missing the pomp and circumstance of getting crowned at your state pageant. Opening a FedEx package in your PJ’s in your kitchen is easy, sure, but not quite as exciting as what the moment really means. You did it! You’re headed to Nationals! It’s time to celebrate.
Recently, we celebrated Allie and Ava’s new IJM titles at the Minnesota studio. Isabella, the International Junior Miss Princess, joined us to crown the new titleholders. In creating a special crowning moment, it’s a great idea to get a current or former titleholder to officially crown you.
The light & bright studio which was specifically designed to be photo-ready is the perfect backdrop for these crowning moments. A hair & makeup artist joined us to get the girls photo-ready and bring an element of glam into the day. We had them change into gowns, put on “miracles happen” (if you know, you know that’s THE crowning song) and had Isabella crown Allie and Ava.
It was a special moment all around, with moms cheering and the girls doing their first waves. A much more exciting way to start your year than just opening a package at home!
On the same day, the girls were smart to schedule headshot packages for their national competition. Why not double-use your amazing hair & makeup!? Both Allie and Ava left with a formal crowning moment, photos, and headshots for nationals. A fabulous start to these new titles!
