Introducing the new Miss High School America Titleholders

Meet the new Miss High School America titleholders!

Right off the bat, the Miss High School America (MHSA) titleholders are treated like queens. Being a National sponsor, I get to be part of showering these girls with prizes right after they win.

Margo, Stephanie, and Ashley are genuine girls to their cores. Each of the new titleholders were so fun not only to photograph, but to just chat with. After almost a week of being in Little Rock myself, and the girls approaching almost 2 weeks, it was nice to start the morning off with lots of Starbucks and chill hanging out. We reminisced the crazy week of competition, talked about all the new friends made, and Ashley shared about her plans for her new Jeep Wranger is that she won! Pageant behind the scenes hang-outs are the best.

I had the pleasure of having both Stephanie and Ashley in front of my camera before their wins, and it was fun to get to photograph them again. Stephanie and I had actually planned on doing her senior photos in the morning, but as soon as she won, I knew we’d have to reschedule those photos haha. Being a newly crowned MHSA queen wins out over everything!

The concept of our shoot was to create clean, pageant-focused images that the MHSA organization can use in promo materials throughout their reign. We worked to include negative space for future messages, promos, and info for the pageant system. Emerie Jones & team flew back from Miss Illinois USA to do hair & makeup for the new queens. We shot until I literally had to run to catch my flight, and I’m excited to share these images our team created.
